The highlight here is undoubtedly the Banda de Tambaqui P2, a dish featuring the coveted tambaqui fish renowned for its firm texture and rich collagen content. The best restaurant in Rio. Authentic Brazilian soul, good vibes and good food for an honest price. The owners are there looking after the guests and sharing their stories behind dishes and flavours. 10/10. Coming back for sure!!!

Charming, good food, interesting history but chaotic service, huge delays on the request, inconsistent quality. Try during the week or Saturdays. Better or perhaps only accessible by car, public transport in Rio is really bad. Avoid Sundays but there is a Carimbó show with music and dance on Sundays and you may want to see it but try pasteis and other nibbles. Avoid main dishes. This charming restaurant has a beautiful history, grew out from the grassroots of Paraense migrants living in Riachuelo. From a garage to a small restaurant, now Pescados tries to cater for huge masses beyond its capacity. It is at the heart of Suburbia of Rio, it offers authentic food and flavours from Pará (an Amazonian state) with a vast range of typical food, juices, fish & spices. Unfortunately service was very poor. Waiters were very gentle but lost, it is clear the restaurant tries to sell out of its capacity. This greed affects on the quality of the food and experience in the restaurant. The cupuaçu juice was average, beer came warm & I had to wait for almost 1hour for my main order - only after a serious complaint ! and the dish came with cold rice and an awful cold pirão but at least ! rice was tasty with a delicious nortern native fish pirarucu. Prices were levelled with touristic copacabana or Flamengo which are premium prices areas but mostly have better customer service. Even a menu, chilli, glasses, spoon...all coming with great delay or simply not coming all ! Having said it all curiously many customers accustomed to the house system seem to not mind.

Excelente!! Vale super a pena! Em adicional, pedimos a patinha de caranguejo, que ganhou disparadooooo, é muitooo gostosa!!! E custa um preço super acessível acho que em torno de 20 reais. Vale a pena é muito gostoso!
